Friday Celebrations

It was exciting to see such fun things happening at Emerald Hill this past Friday.  I just thought I would share a couple of them.

The 3rd grade students finished reading the story "Anthony Reynoso: Born to Rope." The "Fiesta" went along with the story to celebrate Mexican-American heritage.  Students and teachers ate, braided, and watched a real movie of Anthony and his family roping!  I understand that a wonderful time was had by all!  Many thanks always to our volunteers who helped!

The 4th grade students enjoyed Grandparents Day.  They celebrated with family in the cafeteria and enjoyed cookies provided by our PTO (Thank you!) before going back to their classrooms for more activities.
