We kicked off our SOL Testing today with a 50's Themed Pep Rally for students in grades 3 - 5 who will be taking the SOL tests starting on Monday. Grade levels had a "twist" competition and watched a slide show with pictures of the students preparing for the test. They also got to see Mrs. Wootten and myself trying out our "Dance Dance Revolution" feet! Elvis and Priscilla were even sighted in the building and treated us to a song! (Thanks Mr. Luke and Mrs. Cristofori - you were awesome!) What a great way to "Rock the Test"! Also, at the conclusion of testing, students who showed good effort will be treated to an "Ice Cream Float Party" to celebrate their hard work. ROCK THOSE SOL'S EMERALD HILL!
