I am so happy to see everyone back at Emerald Hill! It is so nice to hear the children so excited to see their friends and teachers. The first few days are always a bit chaotic, but I never would have imagined missing the first day of school for an earthquake! And then to follow up days later with a hurricane really makes me hope that the rest of the year is much more calm. The teachers and students seem to have gotten into a routine and we have been blessed with weather that is sunny and warm. I hope that everyone finds the time to get acquainted with their child's teachers and learn about all of the exciting things that are going on at Emerald Hill. Our first newsletter will be going home shortly with students and the county website provides a list of many of the events happening in our school community. I hope to continue my blog this year allowing you to see just a few of the many wonderful things that happen here at Emerald Hill every day.
