Last Friday, I enjoyed hot chocolate and cookies with the 4th grade students who earned all of their AR Points. AR, or Accelerated Reader, is a program that encourages reading. Each child's reading teacher assigns a number of points that students should achieve during the 9 Week period. The 4th grade students who achieved their goal were awards with a movie along with their cookies and cocoa. This Friday, 3rd Grade students will be doing the same.
Also, a quick reminder that students may participate in the SCA Sports Day on Friday, January 21st by wearing their favorite team gear! (Go Steelers!)
